to the home of the Fayette Co. Constable’s Office – District 1. Our office is located on the corner of Third & Upper Streets across from the historic Transylvania University campus. Constable Wade McNabb and his 5 deputies are available to assist the citizens of Lexington-Fayette Co. in any way possible. Our primary duty as Constables in Lexington-Fayette Co. is to serve process for the court system. We serve a variety of documents for the District and Circuit Courts and insure the proper service of those documents pursuant to the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These documents include civil summonses, subpoenas, forcible detainers, motions, orders of the court, criminal summonses, and warrants for arrest. Another primary duty we have is to execute the eviction process through a warrant of possession for landlords and property managers to regain possession of their property after a tenant forcibly detains it in violation of the law. We also provide other services for attorneys, businesses, landlords, property managers, as well as other citizens when called upon to help. Meet The Constable

Please allow us to introduce to you Constable Wade A. McNabb, Fayette County 1st District Constable. Constable McNabb has over 23 years of experience in the public safety field. He has worked as a police officer for two departments; he is a Kentucky certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since 1997 having worked for various EMS services across Kentucky; as well as experience as a volunteer firefighter, E-911 dispatcher, community corrections officer, campus public safety officer, and security officer. Constable McNabb has 14 years of experience as a Paralegal/Law Clerk with various attorneys and law firms in the Lexington area. He is also a former state educator. Constable McNabb took office as 1st District Constable in January 2019. He is a graduate from NKU Chase College of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree in December 2019. He also holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s of Science with a double major in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies from Kentucky Christian University. Constable McNabb is a member of numerous organizations including the Kentucky Constable Association, where is serves as the organization’s Executive Director, after being elected by his peers in January 2020. He is also a member of the National Constables & Marshals Association, Kentucky Justice Association, Fayette Co. Bar Association, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity, Society of Scholars, Chase Criminal Law Society, American Association of Justice, Lexington Landlord Association, Greater Lexington Paralegal Association, Greater Lexington Apartment Association where he is a member of the Legislative Committee, Bluegrass Basketball Association where he is a licensed basketball & baseball official with the KHSAA, and is a former member of the NKU Chase Student Bar Association. Constable McNabb is also commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel and is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He is also commissioned as a Notary Public, State at Large and is a member of the American Association of Notaries.
